As someone who has (fortunately) never taken part in the college graduate job market in Japan, but has stayed in a Holiday Inn Express on several occasions, I can proudly boast having just enough knowledge to pen a review that covers both the 'recruit suit pound that nail into a position no matter what their major was and pay them barely minimum wage for 10 years' coming of age part of Japanese society and a little about hte movie itself. Per the former, It's tried-and-true, as old as old gets: 1960 give or take and with the population declining faster than hotels that will take my business (long story, don't ask), you'd think cute job seeking Japanese women in smart suits would prefer trying their luck smiling (perhaps with a mischievous "I'm super dedicated even after office hours" smile) during job interviews, mastering the precise moment when to knock on the door, how hard to knock on the door, where to place their hands on the door, how far to open the door before stepping in, how far into the room to enter before stopped--and yes, closing the door, AND most importantly on the subject of doors and Japanese job interviews, the precise speed to close the door that makes not NO sound, but a pleasant sound.

It's complicated, yes and with that said, SADISTIC VILLAGE's zany challenge presented to us in JOB HUNTING WOMEN PLAY THE CLING WRAP SUMATA GAME is starting to make a lot more sense. Here, a trio of cute Japanese job seekers are approached. While they may look like JAV stars and for all we know may happen to be them (hey, JAV is like a three or four day a month job depending on one's popularity and ambitions), the urge to succeed in a clothes on environment may remain strong. The game? Simple: plastic wrap genital rubbing AKA 'sumata' where if they withhold their orgasms, they can achieve the dream of dreams: (see above).

Now obviously this is JAV and thus it may be a safe assumption that some amount of its (male) userbase may not be all too familiar with how a female orgasm works. This, I believe, is why especially lately squiring seems to have become as standard in JAV movies as apocryphal nakadashi. I mean how else can you tell if a lady had an orgasm? With a guy, it's obvious: squirt, squirt for a handful of blasts (or three drops if you're Kuroda, so fans have told me), but women? Confusing. Do you look at their faces? Do toes curling up count as cumming? Our industry has solved that: as men squirt so do women, but with even more gusto. No drop, drop, no squirt, squirt, but multiple sprays putting even C-tier waterfalls to shame. I don't get it, but can understand it as well; it makes no sense, but visually rocks and in this movie, it's used with reckless abandon to great success (jobs are on the line after all!).

For those on the fence and need a suggestion, easy: HIMARI KINOSHITA in the first scene. Not to discount the two that follow, but her cute face (and black hair for a change!), the surprisingly big butt, the squirting ability, she has it all! But otherwise, this is a movie that still rocks from start to finish. I'm happy to see SV advancing into the modern era by slightly retooling their output for less 'sadistic' and more fun. Or then again, perhaps 'sadistic' lies in the fact that somebody still needs to clean up the set after...perhaps one of those recruit suit-wearing new hires? Or a female AD? A job's a job, yea?
